Interlagos is the hardest track we race - Discuss
Up to League
I've got everything here - understeer, oversteer, rears locking up, tyres overheating. It's a mess. I'm still struggling to get the damn thing out of the pit lane reliably.
Overtaking options look to me like:
- First and last corners
- Left at the end of the straight, call it T4, if you get a run out the Senna S.
Otherwise you're looking for mistakes.
Anyone got any magic setup solutions to get a balance round here ? Something extreme required in the weight balance department perhaps ?
Sadly, I'm am very low on preparation for this event. So if I do show up to suffer the slings and arrows, you're going to see what I'm like in my raw state. And like the first time you see your girl without her make up on, this may come as something of a shock !
And don't be afraid to show up raw, I know I am and we may have someone show up who is more raw than any of us, although I am trying to get her trained in time

K's have a distinct advantage in Senna and the middle sector here, so if you are on J's or N's, and care more about pace than feel, you might try K's. Also, this track is one of the more aids-favoring tracks, sort of the opposite of Silverstone 88 (where aids had minimal value). In particular, ABS is potent at Interlagos, especially for muscle memory types, because of how hard and inconsistent raw braking is here.
Yes, I'd been starting to relent on the aids objectives here. No fun if you can't keep it on the island.
Its still a pain even with those
. 1.13 is possible i rekon just not for me
i would bet on AJ or Celso Getting it maybe matt
.

I doubt I'll get even into the low 1:14s. J's are just too unstable for that. I'll be luck to get into the high 1:14s with any consistency at all.
Andy, don't relent. We need the likes of you, Alan, and Josh providing us those raw-use data points to calibrate the aids more (we have plenty of aids-use data points. It'll even out more over time, as it has been. Our problem has been the lack of updates has prevented our normal small adjustments.
