2010C Tentative Schedule

Posted by AJ Weber (Admin) at July 11. 2010

I try to release at least the tentative schedule for CSP season so you guys know what tracks your car has to deal with.  So here is the tentative 2010C schedule, in tentative order, without dates:

  1. Spa
  2. Brianza (Monza)
  3. Birmingham (Alabama)
  4. Suzuka
  5. OldRing
  6. Interlagos
  7. Fuji 1990
  8. Laguna Seca
  9. Essington
  10. Paul Ricard

The GTCC currently has 7 slots and the oval series has 3 slots.

There is a possibility that there will be oval races run on the 2010C GP cars, in case that matters to anyone making designs.

Are the Oval slots all pre-season? Or are they going to be distributed throughought the season?
Also, unless I find serious issue with engine/wing performance on the ovals, we will be running the GP cars as opposed to the current oval formula.
AJ, when do you need tracks for the Oval season by?

AJ can we lengthen the GP season by like 3 races Please? If we need to make a new cup for it we could call it the ant cup :D and it would consist of Surfers, Montreal and bahrain :D.

Surfers needs some more work, and we're not sure it'd be ready in time, so it is resting again.  OldRing has some very-Montreal-like complexes (In fact, I'd describe OldRing as a blend of Montreal and Silverstone).  Bahrain will return, but we have lots of other direct F1 overlaps for 10C.

Bahrain will probably feature in GTCC in some guise Ant.... V8 most likely
