Been a bad summer.
got out of the hot tub (dealing with a kidney stone), slipped on the wet concrete and busted my ass. It felt like a complete Triple Lindy (Rodney Dangerfield in "Back to School"
with 5 or 6 seconds of air time, in reality I don't think the feets ever left the ground, a total slidesplat. Results are, a right shoulder separation, I knew it right away . . . how you might ask . . .
BECAUSE IT FUCKING HUUUUUURT !!!! ala Sam Kinison. OOOOHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
I did an endo on a motorcycle 25 years ago and separated the left shoulder . . . now I have a matching pair.
A stupid fall at age 60 causes more damage to the brain than to the body I think. Takes a while to get over yourself, believe me.
Then the computer went sideways and I had to reformat all drives and reinstall everthing, thank you very much. But, things are working MUCH better now clean installs and all. I'll try to ease back into the practice servers over the next few weeks. I would be too much of a rolling chicane on the competion track right now.
See you girls around the mall.
Ouch.....don't do that!
BTW, what's your email addy again? I lost it and I want to send you a video of a hail storm that is reputed to have gone through the Phoenix area recently, and i though you'd be able to confirm it's authenticity.

ooh - kidney stone. Apparently I have one of those lurking discovered in a CT scan this summer which thankfully didn't discover anything worse. Going for a tracking X-ray in a few weeks to see if it's grown/moved. As I understand it, disposing of a stone can be a somewhat uncomfortable experience. in itself. Lance used to say "Pain is only fear leaving the body" to which a valid response may be "Nah, mate, that's a kidney stone"
