There are significant oppurtunities to cut the pit entry here...   im assuming rule will be same as Laguna pit exit where the correct line must be followed, might be a note for pre race drivers briefing

I'll be there for the start of the event and should be able to stay through most of the sprints, but I'm going to miss the feature race.

And yes, Matt, the pit should be followed as marked on the track.  We'll remind everyone at the start.

BTW, thanks Anthony for waiting after the punt and resuming behind me, even without Hoss around to enforce anything.   I should have thanked you then.

So how do we think that went then ?

  • I quite liked having a fast circuit in play.
  • The strategy piece ended up well balanced. 1 stop was my first choice, but 3 stops was my second. I just didn't have the raw pace to make 3 a good idea
  • My result seemed relatively insensitive to errors. I was disappointed to have 3 offs, but looking back at the damage done in terms of race time, 0offs would only have been 1 place better at the finish, I think.
