G'day mate and howdy from down under

Posted by Josh Gannon at November 30. 2011

Hi Guys,

I hope everyone is well.

It has been a while! Life plays it's little games and I had to give up sim racing over a year ago and pretty much bailed on the league without explanation. For that I apologize.

Good news is that my Sunday morning (your Saturday evening) has become free again and I have missed racing, especially with such a great group, I would love to start racing with you guys again.

A lot has changed on Grid since I last raced and I was just after some advice about how to make a comeback. I would like to revive the Superoo team but I don't really have the time to put together a car before the new season. I noticed some customer cars available so this would probably be my best option.

Any help advice anyone could give me would be much appreciated. I'll be basically starting as a noob  again.

I look forward to seeing you all out on track again.

Thanks.

Josh

BTW. I have still been building tracks in whatever spare time I've had, always keeping Grid in mind. I think I have a couple that will impress :)

Well, we are in somewhat of a holding pattern with the mod right now.  We are not currently doing seasonal car dev and mod cuts.   We baked an ubermod with all live times at the time and a bunch of "customer" teams using the names of retired teams.  We are doing this until we are decided on our 'next' platform, be it rF2, rF1, CARS, or whatever.

The good news for you is that one of these customer teams is Superoo.  So there is a Superoo car in the mod right now.

Hey Josh!!!  Good to see you again.    (Sorry I didn't stop by to say 'hi' before today.)

Jump back in, and I hope we see you on track next week at Dijon.

Hi Hoss,

I'm waiting on a new laptop to be delivered, hopefully that will be sometime this week so once I'm set up I will be back 'for sure'.

I'm really stoked that you guys have kept a Superoo car in the mod! Can't wait to turn a few laps in it.
