Assemble a V-12 in your kitchen.  Cool.  Wonder what his wife thought?  Especially when it escalated to running a V-12 in the kitchen.

My main question is, is it real?  I have two things I am wondering about.  He did not put rings on his pistons, so how is he getting enough compression, and what in the world is he doing for an ignition system?

The blurb at the Youtube site, was Spanish, and according to Google Translate it's an air injection engine....so - and this is what I first thought when I saw the thing run - he' pumping in compressed air to make it run....and while I'll look at it another time because it looked liked there might have been rings, the use of the crompressed air might not need rings considering the pressures involved.  Here's the blurb....we got anybody who speaks Spanish?.....acutally when I opened the blurb using (more....) I got this:

v-12 engine with compressed air injection, hand made using taditional methods:12 cm3 of displacement, the diameter of the cyllinder is 11,3 mm,the stroke of the pistons 10mm,it works with only 0,1kg/cm2.Is constructed with stainless steel, aluminum and bronze.Patelo dedicate this engine to his grandchildren:Sara,Carmen,Jose and Pablo. This engine is for education, exhibitons, etc.,that is the reason to work with compressed air, to avoid contamination. He has made the plans and all parts, except the screws. The engine is not for sale. Thanks to everybody for the comments and sorry for my bad English.

Well, that sort of sucks.  So I clicked on some of the related ones, like the smallest V8, etc, and I just kept wanting them to rev their engines up in more than a tiny blurp.

Which this guy finally does:
