ChumpCar (serious)

Has anybody done this?

$500 bucks.....We could spray paint a gridmotorsports livery on whatever we get from the junk heap. C is near, I'll bribe him with a twinkie. That's one driver. Then there is myself. Hoss? Jeremi?

This looks like it would be a blast road Atlanta is 2 1/2 hours away from me. I actually have a car we could use if the date was not so close it would take a little longer to get it ready than the 12 days we have.

Actually there is a race at VIR in march........

That's a little close, but I might be able to go down for recon. I think there is another race later in the year.

If you think about it, it's actually hard (the race). You'd have to not rag the crap vehicle out. It probably would be more about attrition than passing.

C and AJ sound like they are in and probably Jeremi (without me even talking about true cost!). If we get enough people together even at a 2K for racing the clunker could be manageable.

Note though. I think everybody is thinking about the race NEAR them. I'm talking about the 24 hour classic in late august at VIR.
