2009 F1 cars... supposed to look better?
Up to Real-Life Racing
Thats what they said anyway......... !! first evidence suggests otherwise
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/72161They look so goofy, there better be alarms going off in someone's head somewhere with any influence at all. That thing is scary...like some real life embodiment of a 1st grade girl's drawing of a 'race car'.
You want a good looking car, get that rear wing lower and wider, and get that front wing under control. Like a current A1GP car:

Now that's a good looking open wheel car.
Is what a lot narrower? 2009 F1 v 2008 F1? F1 vs A1GP?
Anyway, I think 2009 F1 is actually wider track than 2008. A1GP is even wider. The 2009 F1 rear wing is much much narrower, while the front wing is really wide. That front wing may make an optical illusion that the track is narrower than it is.
