The Official MRDC Summer Holiday Thread

So, as you may have guessed, there has been less than the usual activity level in both of Arthur "Two Sheds" Jackson's two sheds and tumbleweed has been seen blowing across the main runway at Midpack Aerodrome. This is actually quite surprising since the Salsola Kali is not native to these shores, but is indicative of just how torpid things have been down at the clubhouse.
Hence and therefore, Club President for Life Andy "SloBoy" Jones has determined that a summer sabbatical is in order. My presence in the 11B season will be patchy at best, and if/when I do show up, I'll be the one waving from the back of the grid.
While you lot are getting greasy, I shall be mainly be:
- attending 50th birthday parties
- seeing more operas than you can shake a stick at
- visiting my old mum while my brother shoves off on another holiday
- shoving off on another holiday or two myself (Boston and New England maybe - still can't decide)
- working at making a living to keep my family in the manner to which they wish to become accustomed
- bicycling the equivalent distance to the moon and back to prove that aging is not inevitable and the term "hench" can be applied irrespective of any chronological decrepitude
All that take us through to August, I reckon - so have a good summer everyone (or winter for you Southerners !)

Southerners??, surely you mean us northerners?, we've had a heat wave for the last week or so but alas I fear that was our summer came and went.
