M-sports Application

Posted by Carl Dixon at May 10. 2009

Hi i've been looking at a new team for rest of season 09B and M-sports seems to fit in nicely for me so would it be possible to join?

Thanks

Re-posting the following information, so there's no misunderstanding for Carl:

Just a quick reminder: while drivers are free to change team affiliation at any time, if they do so during the course of a season they will be scored as an independent driver for the duration of the season.  I.e. - You're welcome to join M-Sport, but your individual race results will not contribute to M-Sport's standings in the 2009B Team Championship.

Furthermore, your 2009B point earnings up to this point in the season will be converted to 'independent' and removed from your previous team's total (RAC).  In effect, team swapping during a season retroactively makes that driver an independent for the season, as far as scoring is concerned.  This is for purposes of fairness and to reduce the capriciousness of team affiliation choices.

Any one is free to join any team guys but points go indie as per Hoss's notes above.

Open doors at M-sport of course as per league rules but lets keep team sizes reasonable also.   Maybe some guys looking to change team for whatever reason can consider SDL which is M-sport sister team..  Still get the group support but Dennis could sure use some bums in seats on the grid in the black cars

Except the cars themselves are quite different.  SDL is a default based suspension with a turbo, while M-Sport is a kpi based suspension with a standard engine.  Maybe one of the sisters was adopted. :)
