2007DS3 Attendance

Posted by Tom Giangreco at December 29. 2007

I was just wondering who from Ridgefield was gonna make the Panoz special today. My status is: I'm gonna try.

I'll be there. Im not sure how long I can stay but I will be there. The length of my stay will depend on the length of the endurance although ii am going to try to stay for the whole thing if possible

'endurance' is a relative term for us.  2 hours is the max possible race, although after some warmup, qual, and glitches, I don't think any of our enduros have ever been even 2 hours (the race itself).

Basically, the whole event itself will be no longer than a normal event.

FYI - it would be very helpful for us if attendance info went on the main thread for an event.  That keeps it consolidated in one place and I can gauge attendance without wondering if I've missed some post somewhere else in the forum.  Not that a team discussion dedicated to a specific event can't exist in your team forum (that is in fact why it exists), just that the attendance info itself is valuable for me, as the event coordinator/marshal.  So I guess my preference would be for these kind of posts to show up on the event thread in the league forum (since they are league-wide relevant) and for the team forums to contain the posts/threads that are team-relevant.   (on a related note, we may eventually have a one-click roll call kind of feature that will fill the need, letting me know attendance specifically, and not have to worry about missing something that got posted to the forum.)

Thanks!

I'll try to make it today.

Haven't had much Panoz seat time though -- might be interesting to say the least!
