Thoughts on Antares setup for Fuji

Posted by Doug Baggett at July 21. 2008

I figured it would be good to get this going early since we don't have a setup handy for Fuji with our cars. Would anybody like to take a stab at what the configuration will lean toward? Thinking about our special event we had it would seem a low downforce setup will be needed due to the long straights and big sweeping turns. Agree? Disagree?

I did a few laps in Fuji with the base "Spa" setup.  To me, there's a close enough resemblance in terms of corner types to start from there.

Beyond that, I won't be much help, as I'm "stuck" in Nevada - away from my cockpit :(

I envy you guys - I think this track is going to be really fun - much more so than Suzuka.

Doug pointed me to this.  Your wife will probably like all three of the Simon's Cat videos.

Yea, that guy has a gold mine on his hands if he's smart. I asked if I could make a T-shirt with my avatar on the front and he didn't respond. Probably because he's overwhelmed with email.

I might replace my NSF logo wih a blue background version of my avatar...LOL
