Hey Doug, didn't I see a NEWS item you wrote in my INBOX - can't see it on the web page - it was funny as hell!  As you've gone ahead and named yourself, Doug (Bull-in-a-china-shop) Baggett, maybe we could just shorten it to "Bull" instead.

Hey Hoss, perhaps a poll?:

"Is "Bull" an appropriate nickname for Doug Baggett?"

  • Yes
  • No
  • Other Suggestion & why

Also, what is the difference - besides the engine noise - between the "...C" driveline variant and the "...J" driveline variant of the 09C....They appeared to handle differently, but that may have been an illusion on my part.

Thanks.

The engine differences are sound and sound only...but it does bring up a point about how important all of the inputs we do have are, since other inputs (seat of pants) are missing.  The different sounds feel different to me too, which goes to show how leveraged we are on even engine sound to compensate for missing other input.

Agree, engine sound makes perceive the car as working differently when it really isn't. I have  been comparing the two to see which sound feels right for how I drive.

The imminent update has a couple more sounds, and they'll all be selected in upgrades instead.

That's a cool idea!
