Team Antares meeting - team members please read!

Posted by Doug Baggett at July 06. 2008

Fellow Team Antares members,

After last weekends race it's become obvious to me that Abe's shoes are pretty big to fill. I'd like to have a team meeting to talk about how we continue, the team ownership (or if we want to try to be the GMWC's first ever democracy), etc.

I have some ideas such as:

Regular Post race de-brief sessions to talk about gearing, wing, fuel, chassis, and observations of driver errors among other things. Obviously we can use the forum for these but I'd like to have a live meeting to kick things off and to get input in a speedier fashion. Having a team is no good if there is no activity.

I have a little invested interest in seeing this work since I came up with the team concept initially in discussions with AJ and Hoss :)

What say you? When is a good time to meet on teamspeak (or skype if you prefer).

I think it's a good idea.  We could hash out how people believe they can contribute to the team.

I can do either Skype or Teamspeak.  Skype might be worth a try.

I can produce a set of times I'm available this week.....my wife and I are running a course we teach and it takes a bunch of time, but it leaves me with some windows of opportunity to talk about this and do a little driving to support the Zandvoort weekend.  I'll have to consult the boss before I throw out some specific times....I'll also give you my Skype user name and start leaving Skype on so if you "see" me and want to talk about racing you can call.

Mike

I only mentioned skype because it has echo cancellation and does not require a headset. We'd have to gauge if the other members of the team have skype accounts. I don't want to make it too complicated. If not we can always just meet on teamspeak at anytime.

No prob on the time. Hopefully we'll get responses from the others soon.

I have team speak only.  Any date or reasonable east coast  time this week should be ok.
