Grid Motorsports r990 is available

There's a new installer available for r990, which is the release intended to sustain us through the 2010C season.

Please see the download page, and use the Megaupload links to get the pieces of the installer:

NOTE: this is a FULL install of the new version of Grid Motorsports.  Once you've run the installer (the actual installer, not the thing that puts the installer pieces together) that's all you need to do.  You don't have to do any updating or syncing or anything after that.  Just run rFactor and enjoy.

You must do one of the following BEFORE using the new installer:

• Run the uninstaller for your current GridMotorsports install.

OR...

• Just delete the GameData\Vehicles\GridMotorsports folder, as well as any 'Grid-*' files in the rFm directory.

This ensures that you have a clean slate for the new install, and should avoid any mismatch problems with the multiplayer server.

If you have any problems with the install please post here and we'll collect any solutions to common problems.

Install went good for me but I can't seem to connect to the server.  Just times out.

 Huh... weird.

I just logged into the server, but that was from a local machine, i.e. on the same side of the firewall as the server itself.

At least it demonstrates that the rF server itself is fine.   I cycled the firewall, but will have to wait until someone tries to join again from the outside to see if it made any difference.

I can't even see the server after I type in 'gridmotorsports.com:34292' Though I've had this problem since doing a clean windows install 2 weeks ago. The GMOC server has shown up when I needed it to, and I bookmarked it. But now I can click the bookmark a million times and the join button at the button of the screen wont come up. I turned off my firewall and get the same results.

Still no go.  The server shows up on the server list under gridmotorsports.com and shows spa as the track but unable to connect.  Just get a timed out error.
