Triple Header

Description

This format involves a simple sequence of three identical but independent races of moderate length, each preceeded by its own short qualification session.

Schedule

  1. drivers meeting (~5 minutes at the start of the event)
  2. qual/race #1
  3. qual/race #2
  4. 10 minute intermission
  5. qual/race #3

Settings

  • damage is set to 50%
  • tire wear is set to 1x
  • fuel burn is set to 1x
  • all races use a standing start

Races #1-3

  • a timed qualification session lasting 5 minutes
  • drivers start the race in qualifying order
  • a timed race lasting 30 minutes

Scoring

Each race is independently scored according to whatever points ladder is in effect.
