Former Constructor Powerhouse champion in disarray
Allegations of kidnapping, torture, blackmail and theft of technology from Antares interim president Doug Baggett

Since the disappearance of Team founder and president Abe Duarte the former powerhouse Antares racing has been in a tailspin. Creditors and Stockholders recently filed a lawsuit claiming as one anonymous stockholder said "nobody is running the place". Recently I interviewed interim president and race driver Doug "Lightning" Baggett on what is going on at Antares.
Nancy:
Thanks for taking the time to talk with us Mr. Baggett. Can you shed some light as to the current situation at Antares?
Doug:
Situation? What Situation? Leave it up to the press to manufacture something!
Nancy:
Well, the Antares race car as incredibly good as it is has been reportedly not been developed for some time now, your drivers are migrating to other teams and your results in the constructor championship does not seem to be going well over the last season.
Doug:
All of it can be explained. The real issue here is Rusyn. For the longest amount of time they were NOWHERE in the constructor championship THEN all of a sudden our president and founder vanishes without a trace, their cars all of a sudden get some extra speed and our drivers start defecting! I've been doing some digging myself and I'm convinced from some highly reliable sources that Rusyn has Abe kidnapped and bound in a dungeon underneath their cult like compound. It's obvious they've been torturing poor Abe into revealing the secrets of the Antares design and have been incorporating it into their car.
Nancy:
And what of the recent defection of your star driver Celso?
Doug:
As I understand it's probably a blackmail situation. Abe and Celso knew each other pretty well and I'm sure Rusyn intelligence operatives have been using information from their torture sessions to make sure that Celso "understood" what he needed to do and where he needed to go.
Nancy:
What now? How long can Antares survive?
Doug:
Not sure. I've already sold 2 of my 3 hotels/restaurants in Monaco to continue financing and paying the bills. I'll keep the flame going for as long as I can.
