Corse Perdando Sonno
Press Release
San Diego, Ca
The 2008A season for Corse Perdando Sonno was exciting to say the least. We achieved fourth position in the Team Championship and third position in the Drivers Championship. Given the fierce competition there was this season, we couldn't be more proud of our engineers, team managers, suppliers, the families that supported us throughout, the dogs and cats, and Tom Giangreco, our team principal. Without his unabashed support, CPS would not be where it is today. So it is with a heavy heart that we announce that CPS, Inc. had filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy protection in US Federal Court. CPS had been in talks with several investors who had shown an interest in our team, but in the end simply did not write the checks as promised. CPS thought it had some super best friends, but in the end they were fair weather friends at best.
We would like to thank our fan for his great support. You gave us a reason every week to race. But after the sudden heart attack and subsequent death, we just couldn't garner the same support from anyone else. Tom, who holds the record for the most podium finishes without a win, will continue his quest for his first race win next season in 2008B with Rusyn Race Engineering in the hope that he can find another such devoted fan. Preferably, one who is a little more healthy.
Team Principal,
Tom Giangreco

Press Release
San Diego, Ca
Corse Perdando Sonno is officially announcing it's new car for the 2008A season. Keeping with our longstanding relationship with Ridgefield Race Engineering, CPS is proud to announce that the new car for the 2008A season is the RF2 SR208. There were rumors that CPS would remain in the RF1 SR207, however, those rumors can now be laid to rest. After weeks of testing and long hours of internal discussion, the decision was made to purchase the RF2 SR208. There simply is nothing out on the track like it. Couple that with the driver support CPS is widely known for, we expect great things from this season.
This past weekends showing at Zandvoort in the second round of the 2008A GMWC series was proof positive that CPS retains a reputation of both excellence and consistency. With the RF2 SR208 in our garage, that legacy will continue.
