Today Paul Rudy of KUSI news is reporting a return of the Del La Rosa team back on the grid. After troubles with the bank and sponsors. the team is now out of troubled waters. View a return with the DLR2 car and the plans are being drawn up for the New DLR3. Paul Rudy is reporting that DLR's new launch will be at the USMAB Mira Mar in Feb to the excate date Rudy said he wasnt given a date but will be called as KUSI has the rights to show the Launch on TV and Web.

Istunbul, Turkey May 13 --Testing took place in Turkey today for Drivers Marte and Sharon getting in the last bit of data of the 2008A car, while they await the 2008B in flight from the factory in San Diego. The team had a unexpected visitor today who was testing a new drive train for his independent car. Aussie Stephan Moon asked to try out the 2008A DLR and wowed the team with his impressive 1:37's, while the teams main drivers where doing 1:41's-1:43's times. DLR got to speak to Mr. Moon about a possible seat opening they have and in respect to Mr. Moon the contents of the conversation will not be revealed to the public. We where very honored to have Mr. Moon sit in our car and take her out and give us very good imput about the handling of the Car. We want to wish Mr. Moon good luck in his upcoming season and thank him very much for his imput. His comments about the DARR chassis made the whole team very happy, most of all the folks back at the factory who were on live thru web cam.

The New Chassis Dubbed GME-01B, is a improvement of the DARR chassis. DLR will be using their in-house made Sun engine for this upcoming 2008B season. The Sun engine gave DLR the power in our interm season we needed and then some. The main problem with the 2008A chassis was being rushed into service so quicky, she proved to be very fragile and too many DNF's cost the team points.  DLR will be getting the new GME-01 in the morning and hopefully get alot of track time. The DLR team invites indie drivers to contact us about a possible seat fitting for the  2008B season.

DLR will be testing new spec's on the 2008b season car this week, as we go into the final choice of the car spec's.DLR will be holding a unvieling hours before the race this weekend for their team family and friends. team owner G.Marte and M.Sharon are hopeful their 2008b challanger will be better then the interm 2008a spec car. " Our 2008a spec car was rushed onto the track sooner then we wanted, she had teething problems and found her not to our liking. She had too many DNF's, but she did give us a base on which we have been on the CAD machine working out the bug's we encountered racing. Also we like to add we are looking to bring one more driver into the fold for the upcoming season. " remarked Team Owner G.Marte at a recent testing in Italy.

closer. now just make it visible to the public using those upper-right controls (yeah, I know, not quite as 'automatic' as advertised)
