RAC Racing Chassis and Engine Designs.

RAC-10A

Design of the RAC-10A chassis has commenced, testing and evaluating will be carried out in the rundown to the end of the 09C season.

Finalized specifications of the 10A chassis will be published after the submission deadline.

Racing for RAC Racing.

To obtain a race seat at RAC Racing is simple, you require two things, dedication and loyalty. Racing for RAC Racing is completely up to the driver (driver decides who he races for, not the teams) New potential race drivers/and current drivers are encouraged to take a test in one of our cars, and if you find your time within one of our cars enjoyable and you feel that you fancy competing in the league for RAC Racing, please don't hesitate joining a new and exciting team.

RAC Racing Race Livery.

New and old race drivers are encouraged to contact us at the team's forum page found here https://gridmotorsports.com/forum/team-rac with your expression of interest in joining the team, this then enables me to then specifically assign you with a bespoke team livery. The use of the team livery will be mandatory for all new/old race drivers joining RAC Racing.

RAC Racing Current Progress.

23rd Nov 2009: RAC have now finalized the design of the GMWC 10A contender, initial feedback from Primary car tester, Ian Cumming has given a thumbs up to the new chassis, now named the "Cumming." Fingers crossed, this will be the car that brings RAC back inline with the leading teams within the league, and hopefully start producing victories (and who knows, maybe a DC if were lucky!)

Team owner, Chris Jones was contemplating taking a sabbatical during the 10A season, but the RAC-CUMMING-10A car is so good, he cant leave it alone. So with now a 4 driver lineup at RAC, Chris Jones (25) Ian Cumming (05) Carl Dixon (09) and Brandon Longworth (06), will hopefully be set to challenge the leading teams (Antares, Rysun and M-sport), though Brandon will make a late return to racing after recovering from ill health.

Team livery for the 10A season has had a slight tweak to bring it up to date with its new sponsor, Skyhigh Radio (www.skyhighradio.co.uk) an online radio station here in the UK. Initial logo changes will be made to the team GP cars, then it will be rolled out to the remaining cars of RAC (Proton, Panoz and Skoda). 2 of RAC's very own drivers also present at Skyhigh Radio (SHR) and they are, Ian Cumming (aka DJ I.M.C) and Brandon Longworth. Be sure to check out the website, look up the schedule of who is on, and tune in.

RAC Racing Home Test Track.

Currently, RAC Racing's home track is situated 60 miles west of Cardiff at Pembrey race track located in Llanelli, South Wales. There is now however, a new "away" test track available for the team to use, this is Hermanos Rodriguez.
