Gold Zeppelins are accepted as legal tender.
Indie Driver Josh Gannon has today announced that there will be yet another new team for the GMWC 09 Season.
SUPEROO will be based at a brand new, multi-billion dollar, purpose built facility nestled in a secret location somewhere in the Blue Mountains west of the Sydney metropolitan area.
Gannon has recently been missing from the last two rounds of the GMWC and rumour has it that he has been overseeing the finishing touches on the AUSTEQ Facility which houses the GSR/SUPEROO Factory enclosed by a 4.6Km Test circuit.
"I even went to the trouble of building massive cardboard grandstands around the track to give it a reel race track feel" Gannon was overheard slurring at a local bar, It is rumored that he was later heard shouting "I've got to get me one of these gold zeppelin thingys that everyone keeps talking about" From a stall in the mens room.
The AUSTEQ circuit has been designed specifically with GMWC in mind and features 2 high speed sections with heavy braking points, Two technical complexes and large banked corner preceeded by a 260KMH Chicane.
Reports say that the circut will open for testing shortly and all teams from GMWC are welcome to use the Facility which also includes a skid pad.
Information on the Chassis/Engine package that SUPEROO will be running has yet to be released but it is believed that the car will be an evolution of the GSR08/GTech08R package.
