Tach and Fuel level

  • yellow needle for rpm
  • blue-green dot for fuel level
  • red zone is where engine wear increases (if applicable)
  • bog: below this line the engine is out of design range and can be very weak
  • otto T: peak ottodyn torque is at the yellow line
  • otto P: peak ottodyn power is at the white line
  • grid T: peak GRID torque is at the white line
  • grid P: peak GRID power is slightly (100rpm) above the white line -- too close for another line.
  • velo T: peak velotech torque is at the yellow dot
  • velo P: peak velotech power is at the white dot
  • 5L,10L,20L,40L: markers for fuel remaining

Speedometer

  • 0 kph and 300 kph: needle is vertical for both
  • high mark: highest speed attained.  All needles on this gauge have a high water mark thin needle.
  • aero/mechanical grey region: faster than this region is where setup is aero dominated.  Slower than this region is where setup is mechanical dominated.  In the grey is a mix.

Oil

  • vertical is overheating
  • ideal temp: engine makes the most power in this range

Water

  • vertical is overheating

Speed

  • 3 digit speed indicator

Gear

  • color coded gear letters for quicker recognition

Shift Indicators

  • projected onto the windscreen
  • red: near redline
  • green: a little earlier

Warning Indicators

  • projected onto the windscreen
  • red: engine temp
  • white: low fuel
